Happy Independence Day Nicaragua!

Wednesday we celebrated the independence of this dear country! All of the  students from the schools in El Crucero get together and parade down the main street (there is only one) in celebration. 

Ezequiel carried the Nicaraguan flag because he was in the highest academic group of students

Solimar also marched wearing sashes as tribute to their good grades
