Thursday was then the celebration of Central America's Independence Day. There was a program at school with dancing, poems, tributes to Central America, and the drums!
One thing, that I liked about the schedule of both these days, is that both the march (parade) and program 'started' at 7 am like school normally would, but when they finish by 10 am and you have the rest of the day to relax and lie around, it makes for a great long day!
